I posted a video update on my hair install a few days ago on my youtube channel. Check the video out below:
I will repeat this again, I do not support New Jolly Hair Products. Of the three, the Quindao Premier Wigs hair is the best in my opinion; good quality, full bundles and true to length. The Guangzhou Truly Industry Hair is actually beautiful really good quality hair; however I would not purchase again from them because their bundles are thin (especially towards the ends), they are not true to length (in fact 2 or more inches off), and the wefts are horrendous.
For all of my ladies who are avid weave fans/supporters/obsessors like myself, today is your day! Check out my three part video series on how to 'Revive & Reuse That Weave'. The great thing is that these tricks work on any type pf hair: beauty supply (human or synthetic) and remy hair. The videos are lengthy but worth the watch. Enjoy!!!!
Ahhh! I have to remember to be more frequent with posts.
Anywho, this post is strictly about hair. As I said in one of my posts awhile back - I LOVE hair. In fact, I am a hair junkie. Straight up, for real though, hair may be my most valued accessory. Therefore, I want the best and baddest (in a good way of course) hair extensions I can get my hands on - within my price range that is. For those of you who are not as learned on hair weaves/extensions, the cream of the crop has transformed over the years from 100% human hair to remy hair, all the way to virgin remy hair stripped from the hair of maidens in Euraisa.
Now if you're on a budget like me, and still want to have top billing hair, I introduce you to aliexpress.com & alibaba.com. The two sister companies are a cross between ebay and amazon for hair. Search for whatever your heart desires: Peruvian Hair, Brazilian Hair, Indian Hair and hundreds if not thousands of different hair companies show up with prices much lower than those offered by hair companies based in America. Now don't be fooled by the nationalities proceeding the word hair; they are just adjectives describing the texture (coarse, fine, silky, etc) and luster (shine or 'shininess') of the hair. Most of these companies are based in China and I am 200% positive (maury show style) that all the hair on both sites are from Chinese women. Below is a review I did on youtube of the last hair company I purchased from: New Jolly Hair Products: Virgin Remy Peruvian Body Wave. New Jolly has both an Alibaba and Aliexpress page. Now, I was not as impressed with the hair as I have been in the past with other hair companies I found on alibaba/aliexpress. However, I did get my money's worth as I wore the hair for over three months and reused some of it for my current install. I'll talk more about that soon!

So I don't have to tell you that a BOLD BLAST of color has taken the fashion, cosmetics, hair....well all things in the world of glamour by storm ! I don't think I have mentioned this before, but I am a hair fanatic. I might love hair more than both makeup and fashion! It's true...Enough of this tangent. Whether it be BOLD orange or berry lips or color-blocking, adding a pop of bright and beautiful color really allows for an individual to stand out. One color trend that was quite apparent during the Summer and early Fall (still actually) was Ombre hair. Ombre Hair basically means the hair gradually transitions from dark to light. Check out a few of the examples below:
At first I thought it was a bit much! It's pretty but perhaps not for me. I wanted to try something drastically different from my usually soft black hair color but nothing too crazy. Color can be tricky especially when pertaining to people of darker complexions - or so I thought until one day I decided that I should no longer be a punk about the situation. So I decided to make my interpretation of the Ombre hair trend - with extensions that is (I could not and would not dare to bleach my own hair!!) I added both dark brown and hair extensions that had been previously bleached at the ends to a to a light brown/auburn color. The darker longer extensions on the bottom were added to make sure that the lighter color wouldn't overpower my face. Here are some pics!
Overall, I actually liked how it looked. It was a definite change and looked relatively good - or at least I think it did. What do you think about Ombre or hair color change in general? Would you try it? Have you? Hit me back with some comments below!
