I'm going to keep this post short and simple. Lord knows, I come and go on this blog. I thank all those of you who continue to support - it means the world. If I could thank each of you personally, I honestly would.
King Bey said it best back in '06:
...Every woman got one...Shut it down when the time comes
...Pull out the big guns..and put your freakum dress on...
This is a dress I pull out when I don't have the time to think about color schemes, patterns or matching shoes. If it's a sexy, festive occasion, this dress always fits the script. The dress is actually from Dots; to my surprise the quality is incredible. I have had the dress for three years and it has served me well.
Click here to check out my video in the dress.

The Basic Smokey Eye
I don't know about y'all but I didn't learn how to apply makeup until the end of my senior year in high school - Shocker, right? Girls these days are master makeup artists by middle school! While I can now easily beat a face, I didn't initially learn out of sheer interest - Prom was swiftly approaching! I searched Google for the perfect look and decided that a smokey eye would set me apart from all the 'basic chicks' at my high school (I kid, I kid, I joke!). Any-who, I learned how to apply my foundation and how to get a simple smokey eye from a makeup artist at the MAC counter. It's been several years - thus I have PERFECTED the basic black smokey eye...and now you will too. Check out my YouTube tutorial on how to achieve a smokey eye in a matter of minutes. It's the perfect fall back look when you just don't know what to do on a night out. I promise you'll love it!

Underneath it All
Hey guys,
If there's one thing you may know if you keep in touch with this blog of mine, it's that I love hair! I'm an extensions fanatic but the most important thing is my actual hair. My main goal in my hair care regimen is retaining/maintaining the health of my hair. Let's chat about it.
For a little bit background: I last relaxed my hair in May of 2010. I tried to transition from relaxed to natural for about 6 months but I was unfortunately not about that life lol. I just love the look and delivery of weave way too much. Everyone's hair is different. Depending on the luster, texture, curl pattern, and other factors, the appearance of everyone's natural hair when wet, pressed, blow dried, twisted, Bantu knotted or whatever will be different. When I first decided to go natural, I remember thinking my hair would grow more quickly and healthily into this gorgeous natural curl pattern. However, maintaining natural hair is a task I am not ready to undertake. Because of my natural texture, simply parting my hair was a task; combing it was a different story and forget about that lush curl pattern I imagined would appear. Now why I thought my roots from Africa would produce cuticles from Brazil is something else. So to help loosen my curl pattern and soften the coarseness of my hair I started texturizing...and that's where I'm at right now. The brand I currently use is Botanicals: Soft and Beautiful Texturizer (coarse). I will be testing out a different brand in the near future however. I apply it to my hair every 3-4 months as I def don't want to over process my locks. Texturizing helps to blend my leave out with my extensions MUCH better and most importantly allows me to manage my hair it a manner more suitable for my skill and patience level.
Below is detailed video in which I explain the products I use to manage/maintain both my real hair and my extensions. Hope you enjoy:

There I go again...
There I go again...MIA for a bit. Thus is the state of my life at this statge in my life - growing up is busy business lol. Here's a video I recorded a while back on how I get a minimal coverage glow using inexpensive, drugstore products. Though I am all for full coverage, glam me up, "WOW, is this really me makeup" (for night time), I honestly believe that summer, winter, spring or fall, a 'minimal makeup' makeup routine is essential to showing the world a beautiful, glowing, fresh-faced you. Neutral Makeup - Let's Call it Practice
Hey loves
I filmed myself doing my makeup here but it was kind of a fail. I don't like the lighting, the camera angle, my hair...and much more so let's call it practice for better makeup tutorials in the future :)
Nonetheless, here it is below:

Hair Update...
Hey loves,
I posted a video update on my hair install a few days ago on my youtube channel. Check the video out below:
I will repeat this again, I do not support New Jolly Hair Products. Of the three, the Quindao Premier Wigs hair is the best in my opinion; good quality, full bundles and true to length. The Guangzhou Truly Industry Hair is actually beautiful really good quality hair; however I would not purchase again from them because their bundles are thin (especially towards the ends), they are not true to length (in fact 2 or more inches off), and the wefts are horrendous.
Bold Kisses,
Moji

Very Casual OOTN
Hey loves,
Here is a quick outfit of the night I wore to the movies this weekend. If you haven't seen Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man already, you really really should. Not only was it unbelievably funny, but it actually placed the characters in thought provoking situations and circumstances. I loved it! Pics of the outfit below:

I am also entering this outfit for YouTube Beauty Guru, Passion Jonesz, and Diva Hair Couture's Spring Contest. I didn't have the time to record a video then so I taped this for you all last night! Hope you enjoy!

Lace Top: Wet Seal

Forgot to mention the outfit was inspired by Tika Sumpter (we'll talk more about her soon)
